Aoife Troy

Aoife joined the lab in 2024 as a Research Assistant assisting with recruitment and working alongside the team on various EEG- and TMS-based projects. Aoife previously graduated in psychology and spent time working in multiple clinics relating to both adult and child disability. She is currently undergoing a research masters in Pharmacology & Therapeutics at the University of Galway. Her research focuses on the effects of caffeine on cognition and dementia risk. Aoife's research interests include neurodegenerative diseases and the ageing brain, as well as neurodevelopmental disorders and Autism.
