Clàudia joined the lab as an Erasmus student in her fourth and final year of Biomedical Science at the University of Barcelona. Her capstone project involved investigating cognitive network dysfunction in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) using task-based Electroencephalogram (EEG) and subsequent analysis with EEGLAB. Her research interests revolve around understanding the biological mechanisms in human health, with a specific focus on neurodegenerative conditions. Clàudia is particularly interested in examining the degenerative processes that characterize these diseases. She believes that comprehending these intricacies is crucial for the prognosis and improving the treatment of affected patients.
