Yasmine Tadjine worked as a research assistant within the EXG Research Group in the Academic Unit of Neurology at Trinity College Dublin. She began working in the lab in 2018 when she received a HRB scholarship to carry out clinical research as an undergraduate student. Yasmine studied Neuroscience at Trinity College Dublin and subsequently pursued a postgraduate degree in medicine at UCD. She graduated in 2024. Yasmine rejoined the McMackin Lab as an Academic Track Intern in 2024, using transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to investigate differences in motor network function in carriers of the ALS-associated C9orf72 repeat expansion. She has presented her work nationally and internationally.
